108 Philosophy of Logic and LanguageThis paper is not part of the Philosophy core, but is an excellent choice for students who enjoyed Logic in the first year and are interested to address puzzles concerning the appropriate logical treatment of arguments in language. In Hertford College, it is often taught by Peter Millican (who has published on Definite Descriptions and the representation of Thought), but tutors from other colleges can also play a role, particularly on their specialist research topics.
